Desi Village was very good. The taste and quality of food was 10/10. We got the chicken vindaloo (top) and chicken chettinad (bottom) as well as rice and garlic naan, all were 10/10. The staff especially Ram was also so kind and we got a desert (second picture) that was a special for the day as well as a free desert they gave us to try called bread halwa (last picture) and not on the permanent menu but it was also very good so be sure to ask about their daily specials. We will definitely be back!

I wish I had taken a picture of the food, but I did not. However, it was all delicious! I ordered the karaikudi vegetarian curry and the onion Samosa and plain naan. Everything was amazing, and they tailored the heat level down a little bit for me, and it was perfect. I placed a take out order and it was ready within 5 to 10 minutes. The staff was extremely courteous. I will definitely be going back!

Update. 2nd trip- amazing again. This time ordered two new veg dishes and both were delicious. Aloo gobi masala and Dahl Tadka with garlic naan. New favorite place to get my take out! The staff is also really helpful at explaining the menu and making good suggestions.

Delicious food and friendly staff. Perfect spices with quality food. This is the best food I had recent days and dosas are amazing. Service is excellent and I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Came here for lunch. You have 1 young man serving For 15 customers. He is unable to deliver food items on time. He doesn’t remember orders. Had to ask 3 times for the same drink order. Also he said you guys do not serve cold water. You are running a restaurant in a town called Plano in Texas where it gets pretty hot. We are Not in India. If a customer asks for a cold water, I don’t care where you are. You better stock your mini fridge with bottled water. Poor service reflective of poor ownership. Will save my money and go across the street. Poor service all around. Felt bad for young man. Ownership needs to invest more money in offering better service.

The food was made fresh with lots of flavor and high quality ingredients. I lived many years in London and have struggled to find Indian food here with that meets expectations. Desi Village is simple and unpretentious with great service and food. I will surely return!

We ordered chicken dum briyani and pepper chicken and beetroot halwa through Uber eats.... But they delivered spoiled chicken dum briyani, salty Pepper chicken and RASAMILAY... threw pepper chicken outside due to more salty... Not sure, why they delivered rasamilay instead of pertroot halwa along with spoiled chicken briyani... Attached photos for reference..

Food was wonderful, we drove 45 minutes from Celina looking for great Indian food and we were not disappointed at all. Everything was so flavorful and delicious we had a hard time choosing what our favorite dish was. We definitely will be back here again and often!
