Exceptional Dining Experience at Bavaro’s. I don’t know how we have been missing this amazing place.

Right in downtown Sarasota. Great location with their own parking.

From the moment we walked in we knew we were going to have a wonderful experience and we sure did.

The service was great. Our server David was attentive without being intrusive, making sure we had everything we needed.

He gave us few recommendations which we loved.
We ordered the delicious chicken wings (wow that sauce you can just lick your fingers), also Burrata, charcuterie board, salad and out of this world wood-fired pizza, perfectly cooked. OMG, one item from the menu was more delicious than the other.
I can’t wait to go back for more, specially more wings YUM!

We came in with a larger crowd and had a great experience. The service was great and efficient. The food was delicious as well. The baked oysters were perfect, the meat balls and pizza was also delicious.

After dining a day later, I'm still dreaming about that Authentic wood-fired Napoletana Margherita pizza. ?
Sauce was perfectly balanced and the crust was light and crispy as air. ?

We ordered delivery to our hotel because we were exhausted after a long day. The food (like most restaurants we tried in Sarasota) was pretty terrible. The pizza was floppy, undercooked (raw dough in places), had no undercarriage and was over sauced (soupy). Dave Portnoy would give it a 3 out of 10 (being generous). The mushroom pizza had no mushrooms. The garlic bread was awful, like someone tipped an entire jar of pre minced garlic over the dough. Inedible. Clearly jarred garlic.
The entire meal was terrible.

We attended a wine dinner. Five courses each was amazing. Nice pour of wine with each course. I believe they do the wine dinners several times a year. Well worth the price. Service was excellent. I’m looking forward to trying their regular menu

Love their wood-fires pizza. The dough is delicious and made from 100-year-old yeast culture (not sure how that’s possible? But apparently they do)
