So yesterday we went to this place and it was okay. The ambience is not pretty at all, the sofas were bit dirty. Moreover, the food was so so not so great. We tried the Andhra spicy dosa which was fine but didn’t like the appetizers, like the Bonda, it was what i expected it to be nor the samosa chaat, it was just chana samosa the chutney and the tanginess was missing. The place didn’t have the vibe. I wouldn’t come back here again. It’s a self service kinda place and the worst part is they have plastic cutlery and everything is served in disposable containers. Eating south Indian food in disposable containers diminishes the experience. Not a place for me.

1st time had breakfast in chatndosa.Food tasty n amazing..and price reasonable compare to Chicago. manager Sai is very smart n knowledgeable.Very activate during his work schedule.

Not recommended….Not good at all… I am writing this review while in the restaurant itself as we have to leave all the food on the table and walk away….

We ordered Paneer Tikka Masala, South Indian Combo, Dahi Puri, Bolba tea and coffee….

Paneer Tikka was just onion and tomato gravy floating in oil…. The gravy was served with Butter Naan….To add the naan were frozen one, heated with butter…

South Indian Combo has idli, vada, Dosa and Kesari…. Vada was too hard, not properly cooked…Idli was hard and dosa was less than average taste…No kesari as per menu…they replaced with Paysam…

Dahi Puri was served after we were done with food and was below average….

Strawberry Bolba Milk tea was worst….Taste just watery… No flavors at all…

Also, most of the items which we thought of ordering initially were not available…

A big no for this restaurant…Please try if you have excess money…..

Update for 4/20

Breakfast buffet has gone downhill! All the items on the menu on buffet.

We went on 4/20 and the menu had Mysore Bonda on the menu but it was not on the buffet.

Rest of the items were very average, the chutneys had no flavor.

Very disappointed. Will not be going back!

This is our second time here after trying it a couple of weeks ago.

Looks like word of mouth and social media helped a lot, they were packed today by 8:45.

Breakfast items were all fresh and tasted good.

Only gripe is they need better front of the house management. Change from the couple weeks ago was they take payment ahead, but there is no one taking note of people arriving in sequence. So it is like open seat frenzy and it is annoying few patrons(obviously)

Once we went to this place and noticed davanagere benne dosa being served which is rare find anywhere other then Karnataka .
We ordered a pick . Dosa was decent but would call it as more of butter spongy dosa . I think fresh butter is something which gives that distinct taste but that was not the case here. Potato with dosa usually looks bland but taste good because of fresh mirchi adrak tadka provided. That was not the case here.
Chutney served was common chutney served with other dosa and not what we get in davangere where there is no concept of sambar. Overall would say dosa was good but not what davangere dosa.
Onion samosa was fresh and crispy. Would definitely visit again but not trying davanagere dosa.

I recently dined at Chaat n Dosa in Plano and I must say it was a fantastic experience! The restaurant not only lived up to its name but it also exceeded my expectations in terms of taste quality and service.

From classic favorites like bhel puri and pani puri to innovative creations there was something to cater to everyone's taste buds.

When it comes to the taste I was blown away by the authenticity and flavors of the dishes. The chaat was perfectly balanced with a delightful blend of sweet savory tangy and spicy elements. The pani puri was crispy and filled with the most delicious and refreshing flavored water. Each dish was skillfully prepared with fresh ingredients and you could tell that attention to detail was given to every bite.

The quality of the food was impeccable. The ingredients used were of high quality and the dishes were presented beautifully. It was evident that the chefs took great pride in their craft and ensured that each dish was prepared with utmost care and precision.

Moreover the service at Chaat n Dosa was exemplary. The staff was friendly attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. They were more than happy to assist with any questions or recommendations which added to the overall dining experience.

The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting and comfortable. The seating area was spacious and the decor had a modern yet traditional touch. It created a pleasant atmosphere to enjoy the food and spend time with friends and family.

One aspect that could be improved upon is the waiting time for the food. On a busy day it took a bit longer than expected for our dishes to arrive. However the quality of the food and the excellent service made up for this minor inconvenience.

In conclusion my visit to Chaat n Dosa in Plano was fantastic. The impressive range of chaat and dosa options along with the authentic flavors and high-quality ingredients made it a memorable dining experience. The attentive service and comfortable ambiance further added to the charm of the place. Despite a slightly longer wait time for the food I would highly recommend visiting Chaat n Dosa for a delightful and flavorsome culinary journey

It's likely not widely known, and locating it might be a bit challenging, but for those seeking delicious Indian cuisine, this place is definitely worth a try.

Got a dosa, samosa, and milk cake. All were amazing. the choices of chutney are great. I loved the tomato and the coconut especially. Very friendly and I’ll be back for more! Also, portions are large and I left with enough for a second meal.
